Position: Systems Engineer - Precision Agriculture Solutions Location: Clear Lake, WI

Description: 

Oxbo International, is a leader in providing harvesting solutions to niche agricultural markets. The company currently has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer - Precision Agriculture Solutions who will work on strategic technology projects for the organization.

Overall Responsibilities:

Lead, schedule, execute and manage Precision Solutions development activities to deliver quality projects in an efficient manner. 

Interact daily with the Product Line Project Managers to make sure there is alignment on activities and deadlines. Maintain supplier relationships to ensure Oxbo has full visibility to future hardware/software products.

Position Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Engineering
  • Experience with electrical, programming and hydraulic systems used in mobile Agricultural applications
  • Proven Precision Ag experience as a project Engineer including the understanding of the agricultural business environment and issues – an ideal candidate would have experience with Yield, Guidance, Communication and/or Automation Ag Equipment projects
  • Familiarity with Precision Ag rules, regulations, best practices and standards
  • Training or experience with Solidworks and Programming (C++, Plus +1, etc.) a plus
  • May require up to 35% Travel (some international)

Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: Clear Lake, WI

Description: 

Oxbo International, a world leader in the production and service of specialized agricultural equipment, has an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who will work on and manage engineering projects for the organization.  

This individual will develop engineering documentation, provide technical and field support to Oxbo staff and customers, and participate in Product Development and Testing.  

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 + years of industry experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Demonstrated project management, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Familiarity with GD + T and application

  • Demonstrated SolidWorks or other 3D solid modeling software skills- SolidWorks certification and experience with PDM file management a plus. FMEA, FEA and/or motion analysis software preferred
  • Design experience with agricultural equipment or other off-road mobile equipment (to include hydraulics, powertrain or drivetrain systems)

  • Familiarity with Lean Design principles and tools; knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods

  • Ability/willingness to work both in an office environment and hands on in the field

The individual holding this position will manage projects- and in this role, will oversee and direct the work of other Engineers, Designers and Draftspersons.

This role requires some travel- approximately 2-3 weeks per year to accommodate customer visits, supplier visits, field testing, and visits to other Oxbo facilities.

Position: Service Technician  

Locations:   Shipshewana, IN      Rochelle, IL      Grundy Center, IA   Pasco, WA     Byron, NY     Clear Lake, WI   

Description: Growing Worldwide Agricultural Machinery Company seeks ambitious, responsible individuals for machine support, preventative maintenance, scheduled repair operations, and emergency service on our products.

You will ensure quality technical customer support through proficient diagnosis and sound problem solving in a timely manner. These duties will be performed at our location or directly at the customer's site.

Qualifications include:

  • Vocational training, or a minimum of 3 years experience in troubleshooting in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical technology.
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills and the ability to apply this knowledge to Oxbo products.
  • Maintenance knowledge, customer-service orientation, and an ability to work from blueprints, manuals and schematics
  • Clean driving record

You must be able to effectively and efficiently interact with customers and coworkers at a professional level. Successful candidates will have exceptional oral and written communication skills, be able to prioritize and multi task within our fast paced environment. You must be safety conscious and committed to following company safety policies. Oxbo Technicians perform emergency after-hours service on a rotating basis, which includes evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Education: High school diploma/GED required, BOCES or trade-school required or equivalent combination of on-the-job training and education. Job Qualifications: 

This job requires the accurate transacting of material within the business operating system and as well as the accurate, safe and efficient physical movement of material by utilizing blueprints, verbal instructions and shop work packets which include shop routings and pick lists, work instructions (both written and electronic), and inspection sheet. The use and knowledge of computers, hand tools including pneumatic tools, various measuring and testing devices and bar code equipment is required. Individuals must be able to safely operate a forklift. Hours: 7:00am – 4:30pm

Experience with and the necessary skills of operating various paint guns air assist and airless paint equipment, operating a spray booth with plural systems and completing routine care and maintenance on equipment. Position: Sales Accounting Clerks: Full and Part time Location: Clear Lake, WI

Job Qualifications: 

Responsible for sales order processing, invoicing, inventory control, and CRM interface. This person will prepare salesmen worksheets, prepare journal entries, monitor outstanding payments on account and apply deposits. Education/Experience required: Associate Degree in Accounting plus two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft products; Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of QAD or CRM software a plus.  Requires good organizational and communication skills.

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting experience on large agricultural equipment- dealing with electrical, hydraulic, and diesel mechanics. Be able to perform a variety of mechanical assembly operations for preparation and installation of engines, hydraulic units and electrical wiring. Ability to work from blueprints, manuals and schematics. Education: Vocational training or on-the-job experience in troubleshooting in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical technology, or electrical technology with experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred. Position: Product Support Technician   

Locations:   Lynden, WA or Visalia, CA   

Description: Oxbo International, a worldwide leader in the production and service of specialized agricultural equipment, has an opportunity for a Product Support Technician who will provide product focused support for designated manufactured and/or retailed products.

The PST will assist with troubleshooting/problem solving and problem resolution in cooperation with marketing, technical service, engineering and others as needed.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Mechanical Engineering Technology and 5 + years of service technician experience (preferably with agriculture machinery)
  • Experience with mobile agriculture machinery service, electrically controlled hydraulic systems including open and closed loop systems, DC & CAN bus electrical systems and precision ag systems
  • Experience in diesel engine troubleshooting and maintenance is desirable
  • Experience with basic welding and fabrication
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to assist and train end-users. Presentation skills desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • The ability to work on long and short-term projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to travel internationally and work varied/extended hours based on seasonal support needs

Position: Weld & Fixture Designer Location: Clear Lake, WI

Job Qualifications: 

Designing, planning, organization, communication, and execution of overall of production processes for designated product lines in the weld area (focus on fixture design). Will coordinate and lead teams that may include Process Improvement Specialist, shop personnel, Programmers, Fixture design and Quality Engineers-across multiple locations worldwide with various technical skills to produce fixturing and weld processes. Focus to include both new and current product launches with weld fixture /process plans, quality/process improvements, targeted cost reductions, various lean initiatives, and other value stream optimization opportunities. Will support the Oxbo strategic business plan by developing manufacturing processes that facilitate entry into new markets and continuous improvement initiatives. Education/Experience: Associate Degree plus four years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Must possess demonstrated knowledge of Lean principles. Experience working in a manufacturing (weld) environment. Proficient in Solid Works. Experience with weld processes used in manufacturing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must possess strong communication skills (written and verbal), leadership and management skills, in addition to the ability to assist and train end-users. Understanding of agricultural business environment and issues. Commitment to providing excellent service to both internal and external customers. Exceptional organizational skills.
