Position: Product Support Technician Location:  Lynden, WA 

Technical Support:

  • Representing product support on project teams for new equipment as assigned.

  • Providing technical and product training to Oxbo’s internal service staff, Oxbo support channels, dealers, and customers.

  • Providing additional technical product support to international sales team. This support may include: customer visits, distribution of service bulletins, coordination of updates and personnel training.

Engineering:

  • Participating in product validation and verification processes. Assist in testing, coordinating tests with customers and ensuring proper field DRL entries.

  • Supporting product maintenance efforts through incident reporting, model year input, and root cause analysis and support.

  • Participating as a member of the 8D Root Cause teams for assigned products.

Sales & Marketing:

  • Channeling feedback from customers and field experience to Sales & Marketing staff to assist with product development and model year revisions. Focus areas to include reliability, maintenance and performance parameters.

  • Assisting with product demonstrations of new equipment as needed.

  • Gaining an understanding of the marketplace, contributing feedback on competition and other factors based on field and customer needs.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience with mobile agriculture machinery service, electrically controlled hydraulic systems including open and closed loop systems, DC & CAN bus electrical systems and precision ag systems.

  • Experience in diesel engine troubleshooting and maintenance is desirable. Experience with basic welding and fabrication.

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to assist and train end-users. Presentation skills desirable.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • The ability to work on long and short-term projects with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.

  • The ability to travel internationally and work varied/extended hours based on seasonal support needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related Mechanical Engineering degree and 5 years as a service technician in agriculture machinery dealership or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Work from blueprints, electrical and hydraulic drawing and schematics and or verbal and written instructions.

Position: Welder - 2nd Shift Location:  Lynden, WA 

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking Night Shift Welders for our Lynden, WA facility.

Successful Candidate will:

  • Create finished assemblies by welding together same gauge and multiple gauge materials, sheet/plate metal and structural steel, and differing composite components.

  • Accurate self-inspection of assemblies.

  • Set-up and finish the jobs with or without a fixture.

  • Properly prep the substrate prior to weld and clean-up for fit-up and appearance post weld.

Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of experience MIG welding hard wire, dual shield/flux core.

  • Must have good print reading skills and be proficient with a tape measure.

  • A weld test is required.

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • Industrial, manufacturing, or agricultural machinery experience is considered a plus.

Position: Staff Systems/Controls Engineer - Global Lead Location: Byron, NY

Job Overview:

  • Manage the electronic/electrical engineering team globally

  • Direct the development of New Global vehicle electronic/electrical systems

  • Create detailed system design specifications and interface control specifications for functional systems

  • Specification design reviews, risk analysis, and system DFMEAs

  • Coordination of Safety Reviews (Systems) according the ISO25119

  • Define and validate the integration of internal and external supplier components

  • Specify required sensors and or develop sensors with internal and external suppliers

  • Facilitate the coordination of the electrical and mechanical design teams to define required interfaces

Position Requirements:

  • 10 years+ of experience in embedded systems software/hardware development and validation of off or on-road vehicles, agricultural equipment, automotive or aircraft

Required Technical Experience:

  • Knowledge of J1939 CAN communication and ISO11783 CAN communication protocol

  • Knowledge of Telemetry and Connectivity

Position: Painter - 1st & 2nd Shift Location: Byron, NY

Job Overview:

We are seeking individuals to fill the position of Painter- 2nd shift (Sun-Thurs: 4:30pm-3:00am).

Successful Candidate will:

  • Perform all prep and masking operations of substrate and components as directed.

  • Sort and organize finished and unfinished product by utilizing the provided work packets.

  • Accurately test cleaning agents with the use of Titrate chemicals, PH strips, and other test equipment pertinent to the proper cleaning of materials.

  • Properly adjust paint equipment within specified guidelines

  • Properly mix and test paint viscosity.

  • Proper and timely maintenance of spray guns.

  • Finish, check, test and inspect products with minimal supervision by utilizing color meters or mil gauges.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of HVLP spray guns and spray equipment is required.

  • A knowledge of polyurethane paints and equipment repair capabilities preferred.

  • Auto body painting experience is a plus.
