Position: Designer Location: Byron, NY

Description: 

Oxbo currently has an opportunity for a Designer who will work closely with manufacturing and sales teams to create and support innovative new designs and customer applications.

Overall Responsibilities:

Develop engineering documentation including but not limited to: Bill of Materials, Drawings, Schematics, Technical Parts and Operator's Publications, and Engineering Change documentation

Design/implement Field Test Plans and maintain records to validate design solutions.

Position Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of Solidworks or other 3D solid modeling software required

Position: Systems Engineer - Precision Agriculture Solutions Location: Clear Lake, WI

Description: 

Oxbo International, is a leader in providing harvesting solutions to niche agricultural markets. The company currently has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer - Precision Agriculture Solutions who will work on strategic technology projects for the organization.

Overall Responsibilities:

Lead, schedule, execute and manage Precision Solutions development activities to deliver quality projects in an efficient manner. 

Interact daily with the Product Line Project Managers to make sure there is alignment on activities and deadlines. Maintain supplier relationships to ensure Oxbo has full visibility to future hardware/software products.

Position Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Engineering
  • Experience with electrical, programming and hydraulic systems used in mobile Agricultural applications
  • Proven Precision Ag experience as a project Engineer including the understanding of the agricultural business environment and issues – an ideal candidate would have experience with Yield, Guidance, Communication and/or Automation Ag Equipment projects
  • Familiarity with Precision Ag rules, regulations, best practices and standards
  • Training or experience with Solidworks and Programming (C++, Plus +1, etc.) a plus

Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: Clear Lake, WI

Description: 

Oxbo International, a world leader in the production and service of specialized agricultural equipment, has an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who will work on and manage engineering projects for the organization.  

This individual will develop engineering documentation, provide technical and field support to Oxbo staff and customers, and participate in Product Development and Testing.  

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 + years of industry experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Demonstrated project management, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Familiarity with GD + T and application

  • Demonstrated SolidWorks or other 3D solid modeling software skills- SolidWorks certification and experience with PDM file management a plus. FMEA, FEA and/or motion analysis software preferred
  • Design experience with agricultural equipment or other off-road mobile equipment (to include hydraulics, powertrain or drivetrain systems)

  • Familiarity with Lean Design principles and tools; knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods

  • Ability/willingness to work both in an office environment and hands on in the field

The individual holding this position will manage projects- and in this role, will oversee and direct the work of other Engineers, Designers and Draftspersons.

This role requires some travel- approximately 2-3 weeks per year to accommodate customer visits, supplier visits, field testing, and visits to other Oxbo facilities.

Position: Service Technician

Description: Growing Worldwide Agricultural Machinery Company seeks ambitious, responsible individuals for machine support, preventative maintenance, scheduled repair operations, and emergency service on our products.

You will ensure quality technical customer support through proficient diagnosis and sound problem solving in a timely manner. These duties will be performed at our location or directly at the customer's site.

Qualifications include:

  • Vocational training, or a minimum of 3 years experience in troubleshooting in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical technology.
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills and the ability to apply this knowledge to Oxbo products.
  • Maintenance knowledge, customer-service orientation, and an ability to work from blueprints, manuals and schematics
  • Clean driving record

You must be able to effectively and efficiently interact with customers and coworkers at a professional level. Successful candidates will have exceptional oral and written communication skills, be able to prioritize and multi task within our fast paced environment. You must be safety conscious and committed to following company safety policies. Oxbo Technicians perform emergency after-hours service on a rotating basis, which includes evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Position: Material Handler (1st shift) Location: Clear Lake, WI

Job Qualifications: 

Oxbo International, a world leader in the production and service of specialized agricultural equipment, has an opportunity for a Material Handler.

This job requires the accurate transacting of material within the business operating system and as well as the accurate, safe and efficient physical movement of material by utilizing blueprints, verbal instructions and shop work packets which include shop routings and pick lists, work instructions (both written and electronic), and inspection sheets. Understanding and adherence to Oxbo quality standards will be required at all times.

The use and knowledge of computers, hand tools including pneumatic tools, various measuring and testing devices and bar code equipment is required. Individuals must be able to safely operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including propane or diesel forklifts, and bridge or jib cranes while utilizing proper lifting devices.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit; use hands and fingers to handle, feel objects, tools, or controls; crawl, stoop, climb a ladder, and reach and push with hands and arms. This job requires individuals to lift up to 50lbs without assistance. All company safety policies must be followed.  Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and steel-toe shoes are required. This position may require the use of hearing protection and other personal protective equipment depending on job assignment. Occasionally, may work in high, precarious places, in outdoor weather conditions such as extreme heat, cold, or humidity. Employees must be able to interact effectively with supervisors/area leaders, and co-workers.  Employees will be required to work overtime as needed.

If not- diagnose the issue and have it fixed. Ensure paint has the correct viscosity and viscosity is recorded. Check and make sure all equipment needing to be grounded is grounded. Oversee and maintain appropriate inventory and/or records of all chemicals, paint, and waste. Check building supply levels to make sure all are stocked for any daily production parts. Order paint, parts for any maintenance items, and other supplies for the week. Complete and maintain solvent reclaimer log. Adhere to safety rules, regulations, and proper use of equipment. Maintains a clean and safe working environment at all times. All other duties as assigned

Education:  Vocational training and 4+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Qualifications/Experience: Knowledge of different types of steel. Ability to obtain certifications as required by the Company. Proficiency in math (units of measurement and multiplication, division, addition, subtraction. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Attentive to details - accurate and thorough. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Overall responsibilities:

Develop and implement advanced technology solutions and enhancements to the control system and operator interface of mobile equipment product lines. 
Work collaboratively with marketing, engineering, suppliers and customers to verify specifications and meet market requirements. Maintain supplier relationships to ensure full visibility to future hardware/software products.

Position Requirements:

BS Degree in Engineering or Computer Science plus 1 year of experience with electrical and electronic control systems used in mobile or industrial applications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Functional knowledge of embedded programming languages including C and C++

General programming skills including software design, software debugging, software documentation, and software testing skills

Familiarity with Codesys or Danfoss Plus+1 Guide a plus

Working knowledge of hydraulic systems a plus

Position: Brake Press Operator (2nd shift) Location: Clear Lake, WI

Description: 

Oxbo International, a world leader in the production and service of specialized agricultural equipment, has an opportunity for a Brake Press Operator. Job qualifications for this position would be DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Setup and operate power brake press to bend, form, etc., sheet steel of various gauges and specification. Make setups independently with minimal assistance from setup man and supervision and subject to first-piece check by quality control. Operate and perform single or progressive position operation by using simple single purpose dies, or using combination, compound, and progressive dies and setting multiple gates or stops. Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including gas, propane, diesel or electric forklift trucks and/or bridge cranes. Work from drawings, wiring diagrams, shop orders, specifications and verbal instruction.  Responsible for inspection of parts, SPC, TPM, teamwork, accuracy, inventory control, total quality, employee involvement, cost reductions and training new operators. Maintain necessary records.  Move materials as necessary in the performance of duties.  Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 2-years manufacturing or special trade experience. Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally and work in hot or cold conditions. Ability to work weekends if required. Assembly or crane experience highly desired. Ability to handle complex projects Must be able to interact effectively with managers, co-workers and suppliers. TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:  Ability to operate a forklift, use a personal computer, small hand tools and air tools, and various measuring. Good mechanical or assembly understanding.
