Position: Parts Manager Locations: Shipshewana, IN  

Description: The Oxbo Parts Business provides excellence in products and services to our customers. Oxbo is seeking an ambitious, responsible individual to manage the efficient and profitable operation of our Parts Department in Shipshewana, Indiana.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years parts experience, customer-service orientation, supervisory experience and general mechanical ability. Ag equipment background strongly preferred.

  • To be successful in this position, you must be an excellent communicator able to function at a high level in a fast paced environment. You must have leadership and organization skills that demonstrate the capability to manage complex projects or programs.
  • You must be a creative problem solver, with resolution skills utilizing analytical techniques and tools to assist in processes.
  • The person in this position must have effective employee/work team training and development skills that facilitate organizational desired results.
  • Ability to manage volumes of activities through work management and effectively leveraging the Oxbo and supply networks is required.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of High School degree or GED; Some college coursework highly preferred
  • A minimum of three years experience working in a fast paced parts or service environment with documented experience working with MRP/ERP systems highly preferred
  • Knowledge of project management and experience and training in managing others required.
  • Experience in a distribution center or inventory management highly preferred.
  • Must be committed to meeting time goals and have very good skill set in Microsoft Windows programs.
  • Must be able to follow directions and work well with others in a team environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Position: Territory Manager, Northern CA Travel: Extensive throughout Northern CA  

Description: The Territory Manager position involves managing Oxbo’s Northern California dealer distribution channel. This person will have the responsibility of managing and growing Oxbo’s vineyard and olive harvesting business across four dealer territories. In addition to the territory based responsibilities, the Territory Manager will be a key team member on the Product Leadership Team (PLT) which is a small, cross functional team responsible for managing Oxbo’s vineyard and olive harvesting product portfolio. Key responsibilities for the Territory Manager would include managing annual dealer business plans, communicating market, customer, dealer and product feedback to PLT and Oxbo, administering and managing sales administration processes, territory sales forecasting, product improvement management, developing and monitoring product requirements and trends for model year maintenance and new product development.

Essential Functions:

  • Define, execute, and manage annual business plans for dealers
  • Establish and manage a scheduled call routine for dealers and their customers
  • Engage customers when possible with cross functional PLT members and dealership personnel to foster direct customer exposure for Oxbo and dealers
  • Assist dealers in managing new and used product inventory.
  • Develop and manage both long-term (36 month) and near-term (12 month) sales forecast
  • Work closely with Oxbo Product Support Representative(s) to plan and execute territory support strategy
    • Parts and aftermarket management
    • Sales and technical training
    • Track and manage the customer satisfaction process
    • Manage warranty and root cause analysis processes with operations group
    • Oversee effectiveness of dealer service teams
  • Build and maintain brand awareness and position by developing relationships with leaders in the vineyard, raisin, and olive communities

Qualifications:

  • The Territory Manager must be a self-starter with self-discipline to work remotely and have excellent communication and listening skills. The person must also be willing work with a high degree of independence in an organization that commands teamwork
  • Must be able to interact with personnel across internal and dealer functions in a manner that helps create a dynamic team-based, customer focused culture
  • Exhibit analytical and problem solving skills, excellent verbal/written skills and presentation skills required
  • Background in the California vineyard industry
  • Computer skills required for job functions: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability and attitude to tolerate long working hours, beyond those usually considered “normal” on a seasonal basis
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions and temperatures and physically able to perform hands-on operation of equipment

Education & Experience:

  • The candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Viticulture, Agronomy, Ag Science, Business Administration or related field. Minimum of five years’ work experience within dealer distributed farm or heavy equipment sectors serving vineyard, nut, or specialty agriculture market segments.
  • Spanish language fluency desired

Position: Manufacturing Supervisor – Second Shift Locations: Byron, NY  

Description: Reporting to the Plant Manager, the second shift supervisor is responsible for all second shift manufacturing activities including selection, training and development of team members, delegating work assignments, writing and conducting performance appraisals, coaching and counseling employees. You will interact with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as customers and outside contacts.

Qualifications: An AAS in Business, Engineering or related field and three years previous supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. You must have very strong communication and interpersonal skills and be computer literate. Experience with lean manufacturing is a plus.


Position: Service Writer Locations: Grundy Center, IA  

Description: As Service Writer, you will be the first line of contact for customers and the overall support of the Service Department. Acting as liaison between customers and the Oxbo Service Department you will plan and communicate scheduling, provide written estimates for service work, and manage parts requests. The position will involve very frequent interaction with in-house service manager, supervisors and other company personnel, preparing items for shipment, assisting in the Parts Department to maintain accurate inventory, and warranty administration.

  • You must have sufficient parts knowledge to be able to read a schematic or parts manual and source parts for customers and service personnel. You must be a well-organized self-starter, willing to do various types of work to support the Service Department staff.
  • Familiarity with the work of a service department including at least two years’ experience in a service environment is highly preferred. Agricultural equipment knowledge helpful.

Position: Welder Locations: Byron, NY (Second Shift)  

Description: A broad knowledge of welding technology and welding experience required. Must be able to work from blueprints, drawings or sketches. Use of measuring devices and performance of self inspections will be required.

Desired Skills & Experience: You must have high standards and be able to work well with others. Graduates of technical school, apprenticeship program, or completion of in-company four-year training program preferred. A combination of experience and education will be considered.


Position: Technical Support Representative - Hay & Forage

Location:

Description: As Technical Support Representative, you will work with Oxbo dealers and team members to give support and guidance with all aspects of Hay and Forage product line. On the Oxbo team, you will be part of the solution as you provide high level technical expertise to our merger dealers to make sure they are support the end user. We have a passion for agriculture; we value innovation, integrity and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities: As the tech service representative, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide technical support to dealers /customers on the forage product line by developing service support material , training opportunities and other tools
  • Assist dealer technicians, customers and territory managers via phone, email and in field support with technical questions and troubleshooting solutions
  • Develop and deliver technical and operator training for dealer and customers
  • Work with Product leadership team to support the product portfolio and implement changes/ improvements.
  • Provide expertise and experience and support to product managers, teams, and equipment designers for current and future product offerings
  • Review warranty claims/field incident reports and coordinate communication to other departments.
  • Work in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to enable us to provide the highest quality product to the customer.
  • Coordinate any necessary field campaigns.
  • Assist Territory managers with trade shows and demonstrations

 

Desired Skills & Experience:The Ideal Candidate will be an excellent communicator able to work well in a team environment. You should have hands on experience within the hay and forage market, possess relevant market knowledge and be able to communicate on high level on technical issues. You must be capable of providing a high level of dealer support, and support of other Oxbo internal departments if required. This position requires good people skills, time management and organizational skills. Ideally, you would have Bachelor of Science degree in a Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering, related discipline and/or equivalent work experience.

Travel is required—up to 50%; international travel may be required for trouble shooting and training.

Description: Growing Worldwide Agricultural Machinery Company seeks ambitious, responsible individuals for machine support, preventative maintenance, scheduled repair operations, and emergency service on our products.

You will ensure quality technical customer support through proficient diagnosis and sound problem solving in a timely manner. These duties will be performed at our location or directly at the customer's site.

Qualifications include:

  • Vocational training, or a minimum of 3 years experience in troubleshooting in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical technology.
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills and the ability to apply this knowledge to Oxbo products.
  • Maintenance knowledge, customer-service orientation, and an ability to work from blueprints, manuals and schematics
  • Clean driving record

You must be able to effectively and efficiently interact with customers and coworkers at a professional level. Successful candidates will have exceptional oral and written communication skills, be able to prioritize and multi task within our fast paced environment. Oxbo Technicians perform emergency after-hours service on a rotating basis, which includes evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.
