The exclusive Miller Pro Field Cushion™ suspension system eliminates sprayer boom bounce on rough terrain. Its patented design is effective, yet simple, and provides significant advantages over other self-leveling booms, especially for vertical shock. It reduces stress on boom structure and promotes longer boom life as well as a more consistent spray application. Simply put, the suspension system is superior, providing a better ride for Miler Pro booms. Plus, the design is simple with no moving parts to wear out.
Miller Pro booms
Miller Pro booms are built to handle the most rigorous conditions, constructed with high grade materials and designed to work in all terrains. If you need negative and positive wing tilt, there are Miller Pro booms for the job. With a Miller Pro boom you can even use just one boom with the other folded in.
Miller Pro sprayers also offer stainless steel boom lines, dependable breakaway wings that return automatically and a superior suspension system.
Manual fold
The Miller Pro manual forward fold boom provides a reliable and stable deign that withstands the rigors of field operation. Boom wings quickly and easily lock into place. Most models use a winch for boom height adjustment. Other standard features include: Single TeeJet nondrip nozzle bodies, XRC-11004 ceramic flat fan spray tips and breakaway boom wings. Manual fold booms are available in widths from 32 to 51 feet. Optional hydraulic wing tilt and/or hydraulic raise/lower (24") are available.
Hydraulic fold booms
This convenient feature provides control of boom functions (fold/unfold, raise/lower) from the tractor seat. Most booms also feature independent wing tilt. More importantly, it helps the operator avoid contact with contaminated booms and provides time saving advantages for moving in and out of fields. |
Rear hydraulic X-Fold booms
The X-Fold boom is a high quality rear fold boom that overlaps the wings when folded. The boom features the Miller Pro patented S-Tine Field Cushion™ suspension with hydraulic fold and a 24 inch height adjustment. Other standard features include: Single TeeJet non-drip nozzle bodies, XRC-11004 ceramic flat fan spray tips and break away secondary boom wings. This boom requires two tractor hydraulic valves to operate; one to fold/unfold and the second to raise/lower. Wing tilt is optional. This boom is available with a tractor 3 point hitch adapter, ideal for use with tractor saddle tanks. X-Fold booms are available in widths from 38 to 60 feet.
Forward fold
The Forward fold boom is a heavy duty commercial grade boom that has been time proven on both pull type and commercial truck sprayers. The forward fold boom uses high-grade materials such as yellow/zinc plated hardware and Nitro-Tec™ plated hydraulic cylinder shafts. Heavy trusses, nozzle body protection and breakaway secondary wings with auto return assure many years of trouble-free operation. Standard features include: Single TeeJet non drip nozzle bodies and XRC-11004 ceramic 110 degree-20GPA flat fan tips. These booms are available in widths from 45 to 66 feet and three different hydraulic configurations: HF, HT or HC. Front boom rests are poly lined to assure smooth operation.
HF Boom
The HF boom features hydraulic fold/unfold and hydraulic up/down with a travel of 24 inches on the tandem axle and 29 inches on the big wheel. (No wing tilt) Requires two tractor hydraulic valves to operate; one to fold/unfold and the second to raise/lower.
HT Boom
The HT boom features hydraulic fold/unfold and hydraulic up/down with a travel of 24 inches on the tandem axle and 29 inches on the big wheel. The HT boom also features hydraulic independent wing tilt, which has the ability of going above and below level. Requires two tractor hydraulic valves to operate, one to fold/unfold and the second to raise/lower. There will be one electric switch in the cab controlling an electric diverter valve so the same two hydraulic valves that fold/unfold and raise/lower the boom now will continue the left and right wing tilt. |
HC Boom
The HC boom incorporates all the features of the HT boom. In addition the boom is capable of folding one side at a time. Requires only one tractor hydraulic valve. (Locked open while sprayer is in use.) This system allows you to have complete control over all boom hydraulic functions with the flip of one of 5 electric switches in the tractor cab. This is ideal when used in conjunction with a hydraulic driven pump.
Included with the HC boom is a compact control box (2"H X 10.5"L) that handles all electric accessory functions including 5 boom switches, foam marker, fence line nozzle(s) and electric rinse kit. The control box can "piggy back" the Raven rate controller or be mounted separately.
Valves, fittings and hoses
Miller Pro sprayers are designed with high capacity and ease of service in mind. The main suction hoses, fast fill hoses, valves and quick couplers are all full flow and 2 inch diameter. These fittings use the latest flange and O-ring technology, for ease of service and virtually leak-free operation. Whenever possible, 90 degree elbows are eliminated to increase flow efficiency.
The pressure hoses are all EPDM 2 Braid, capable of use with a wide range of chemicals. The primary distribution center uses the latest flange and O-ring technology, along with a high flow filter, for maximum flow, ease of service and virtually leak-free operation. The elimination of 90 degree elbows wherever possible also helps to insure maximum flow capabilities. Large commercial grade 1 inch motorized ball valves with 1 inch boom feed lines are standard on all hydraulic forward fold booms. Weather pack sealed wire connectors are standard on all motorized ball valves. Solenoid valves with ¾" boom feed lines are standard on all other booms. |
