The Ferrari Futura automatic transplanter is high-technology for plug transplanting resulting in huge labor savings. The Futura requires just ONE operator to put plug trays in the units, and is available in mounted, drawn, and self-propelled versions. The Futura units can be adapted to any common plug tray (with few limitations). Each unit operates at approximately two to three times the capacity of typical workers for a huge capacity increase. Furthermore, if desired, the automatic is highly suited to 24hr/day multi-shift operations. How it works The units can hold two plug trays at a time with one in reserve. Each unit uses a 2-stroke system which automatically pulls every other plug from the long dimension of the tray. Each plant location is then optically scanned for germination and any blanks are systematically identified and eliminated resulting in an extremely low and acceptable percentage of skips in the field. The planting units incorporate the patented Ferrari self-cleaning kicker in the show for positive plant placement. The configuration may be from (1-6) single-row or twin-row units with spacing from 12-inches between the rows and from 3.75-inch in the row.	The FUTURA is Here!
